My Story

Usually, my day job involves a lot of meetings, report writing, email answering and a load of other boring stuff! But in May, I will put the keyboard to one side, get out of my comfort zone and push my limits to take on 10 Y Fan!

As the CEO of Tenovus Cancer Care, I see every day why our charity is needed. People affected by Cancer need us now, more than ever, and that is why I have decided to not just talk about why others should support us, but do something practical to make a difference myself, and I need your help to make it all worthwhile.

In May, I will be taking part in 10YFan, where I try and climn Pen Y Fan 10 times in 24 hours! (just imagine how painful my legs will be afterwards!)

Pen Y Fan is 2,907 ft and Everest is 29,029 feet, so you could say that if I completed 10YFan, it is the equivalent of climbing Everest. 

Why sponsor me? Well, Tenovus Cancer Care supports over 10% of people diagnosed with cancer in Wales every single year. We fund things such as counselling, a nurse led support line, welfare benefits support and much more. We also campaign for improvements in cancer diagnosis and treatment. Every single penny matters, so if you're able to please support me in this challenge I would be forever greatful!
