My Story

I am taking on the TCS London Marathon in April 2024, to support Tenovus Cancer Care and all those affected by cancer.  I did my first marathon in London in 2002 and although 22 years on the clock (and 2 stones on the stomach) probably won't help, I'll give it my best shot.

For 80 years, Tenovus Cancer Care has been there to offer support, information and advice to anyone affected by cancer. In 2024, that includes services such as their free phone cancer Support Line, Benefits Advice Team, Counselling support and Mobile Support Units which deliver treatments to the heart of communities.

Tenovus Cancer Care understands what it is to live with cancer and how it affects family and friends too. Every 30 minutes someone in Wales is diagnosed with cancer and Tenovus Cancer Care will support 10% of them, but they want to be there for many more. Which is why I'm taking on the TCS London Marathon as part of Team Tenovus Cancer Care.
